Callie Grace Gardening..

All Dressed up and ready to do some gardening.. :)

I love this look on her face

Callie Grace has loved this beautiful weekend, we have planted flowers and enjoyed the hammock...

Callie's 2 month checkup

Callie Grace had her two month well child check up this week. On that day her rash happened to be looking really bad (Yes, its still not gone!!) and the doctor decided then that it was excyma. I didn't agree when she said it at all, but I thought I would at least try the treatment and see what happens. She received her first set of immunizations, which hurt me more than they did her, I couldn't watch the needle, just looked at her and tried to comfort her through the pain. She was also measured, the nurse measured her the first time and was shocked and said that she had to have measured wrong, so she did it again, and again she got 26 inches! I just smiled and told her that my baby was going to be like her momma :) She is in the 95% percentile on height for girls. She weighed in at 12 pounds and 9 ounces, which is in the 90% percentile. So she is definately growing up good and healthy. This was overall a pretty good week, Callie Grace did great and day care, I think she is adjusting well. Mom and I had a great day yesterday gardening, we planted a new Japanese Maple that I love, its going to be Callie Grace's tree, watch it grow as she does through the years. I had a wheeping willow planted for me when we first moved to Murfreesboro, I was ten, and I love driving by that tree today and seeing how huge it is.

These are her 2 month pictures, taken today.. last time I took them in her birthday suit, haha, but I let her keep her diaper this time since she is getting older :) her birthday crown fit even better this time too...

This video is Callie Grace doing one of her favorite things, looking out her window, on the morning of her 2 month birthday... :)

Happenings in my first 2 months

Today is Callie Grace's 2 month birthday! I truly can't believe how fast the time has flown by! She has grown and changed so much, and hopefully having this blog will be a great way for everyone to keep up with her as she changes. For the past week we have been battling an awful allergic reaction she has had to something, the doctor things it may possibly be milk, so I have stopped drinking it and we have changed to soy formula. So far I cannot see a drastic change in it, so not sure that is it. She is thankfully not as irritable and restless as she was from it. We just had a busy weekend going to the mile long yard sale, in Watertown, TN with MaMa Hope ( my mom), PaPa Murf (my dad), and my Aunt Cynthia. Callie Grace is definately getting broken in early on her mom's love of yard sales. We found some great treasures and had a wonderful time. Callie is wearing her Obama onesie that Chelsey gave her, her daddy does not like it too much. She is very alert and aware these days and follows objects so well. Today she has also discovered that she likes watching the rain, I put her swing next to the storm door and she has been so fascinated watching it pour outside. In her first two months of life these have become her favorite activities: Looking out the window, swinging in her swing or outside in the hammock,
eating :), lying on her stomach, PaPa Murf making funny noises for her,
listening to any kind of music, and taking a bath- she loves water !

These pictures were taken last week for Easter

She was actually really good about me laying her down in the flower bed.. :)

She loves lying in the hammock, it sort of swallows her up and she curls up
